Choose Your Own Adventure
You find yourself in a modest-sized family home. It is unclear how you arrived in this home, and how long you have been here. It feels as though you have just woken up, however, you are standing just inside the foyer. Looking behind you, you notice the place where the front door should be, only, it is lacking said door.
Instead, there is a smooth, untouched wall.
You may find within this home interactable objects. You may carry these with you in your “inventory”. It will be clear when an item has been added to your inventory. Please take note of which items you have collected. These objects may be able to be utilized or interacted with again as you progress. These items are counted on an honor system. Please, only use items you have collected. Taking a route with an item you have not collected will make your journey very confusing.
Looking back ahead, to your left you see pale blue walls that meet a wooden banister, with a set of switchback stairs that take you upwards. In front of you, a hallway leads towards the central area of the home.
There is a door between the staircase on your left and the hallway that extends forward.
To your right, the wall seems lumpy, and notably, it is the only wallpapered wall you have seen thus far. The wallpaper is floral and, in your opinion, as well or ill-informed as it may be, not very well applied. Whatever the cause of the lumpiness, it is unclear from within this foyer.
Behind you, there is a lightswitch near where the front door should be.
